Distribution Operations in Troy
TROY, Mich. – AxleTech International, a General Dynamics company, began
operations today at a new state-of-the-art headquarters and distribution center
in Troy, Mich., to meet the growing needs of its commercial and military
customers around the world. Staffed by 40 professionals who fulfill aftermarket

will include a new engineering technical center and prototype operation.
Mary Petrovich, general manager of AxleTech International, said, “We are proud
of the success achieved by AxleTech’s aftermarket business, which has grown to
more than ten times the size it was when we initiated the business in 2002.
Since then, we have added over 100 technical and professional employees to our
team from the talented workforce available here in Michigan.
“We are especially appreciative for the MEGA grant awarded to us from the State
of Michigan Economic Growth Authority last month, which will help AxleTech
continue to grow and create more jobs in Michigan,” Petrovich said.
